Through the Storm

This past week has been Caroline's first real experience without electricity. She didn't mind. Not when Aunt Michelle and Chelsea are here to keep her company! Getting what she wants, when she wants has gotta be nice, right? Here are a few pictures to take you through the storm at our house, and more. You may notice she's without clothes in a few of them. No air conditioning when there's no electricity. We adults did not get to opt out of our clothes. Lucky babies!

Reading to "baby" before bed.

Getting to eat cereal in the beanbag. How fun!

Passing time playing Trouble...

...and calling China.

Reading Aunt Michelles fun magazines.

Playing Phase 10.

Listening to daddy's crazy stories.

Playing Bargain Hunter (a favorite from my childhood). Chris NEVER plays with me. Thank goodness for company!

Playing in the cabinets.

Her new favorite toy.

Tuesday night Wes and Lindsey got to stay over, too, because the roads were closed. It was fun having everybody over. Maybe we should do that again sometime, without the river running through my yard. We are very thankful not to have had any damage, but Chris' parents weren't so lucky. Ankle deep water throughout their home in Sicily Island. Prayer Warriors Unite!
I hope everyone else fared well. Until next time. (Oh, and Chris and I don't have to go back to school until Monday!)
